چکیده

Thesis Abstract Background: Graphene oxide (GO) is a multifunctional carbon nanomaterial with tremendous potential in medical science including cancer therapy. It has unique physical, and chemical properties to be used as drug carrier such Doxorubicin (DOX). Aim: This study aimed load DOX on supramagnetic iron GO (GO/Fe3O4) passive active forms or without folic acid (FA) compare the anti-tumor effects of these conjugates free DOX.Materials Methods: was synthesized by Hummers method, then loaded DOX, FA Fe3O4. All were characterized FT-IR, TEM TGA techniques, their anticancer investigated vitro using EAC cell lines. In vivo performed EAC-bearing mice which divided treated GO/DOX, rGO/DOX/FA, GO/Fe3O4/DOX, rGO/Fe3O4/FA/DOX, GO/Fe3O4/DOX+IR rGO/Fe3O4/FA/DOX+IR. After 10 days, number tumor cells, splenocytes white blood cells (WBC), apoptosis, cycle analyzed. Results: results showed that induced significant decrease total numbers cells. Interestingly rGO/Fe3O4/FA/DOX+ IR treatment increases late apoptosis whereas GO/DOX rGO/Fe3O4/FA/DOX necrotic compared DOX. Free leukopenia spleen, however GO/FA/DOX lesser effects. Treatment leukocytes GO/DOX/FA leukopenia. Conclusion: These demonstrate composites may highly biocompatible practical applications

Chlorotoxin-conjugated graphene oxide for targeted delivery of an anticancer drug

Current chemotherapy for glioma is rarely satisfactory due to low therapeutic efficiency and systemic side effects. We have developed a glioma-targeted drug delivery system based on graphene oxide. Targeted peptide chlorotoxin-conjugated graphene oxide (CTX-GO) sheets were successfully synthesized and characterized. Doxorubicin was loaded onto CTX-GO (CTX-GO/DOX) with high efficiency (570 mg do...

while performance-based language assessment has led to an increased authenticity and content validity in the practice of writing assessment, the reliability of ratings has become a major issue. research findings have shown different reactions by native english speaker (nes) and non-native english speaker (nns) teachers to students’ writings. the focus of this study is on investigating whether i...

Computational study of Anticancer Dasatinib for drug delivery systems

Dasatinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) that is used to treat chronic myeloid leukemia and in the management of ulcerative colitis (UC) and to provide appropriate results in treatment. Dasatinib is significantly higher and faster than full cytogenetic and large molecular responses as compared to imatinib. In the recent study, using the NMR data, the frequency and thermochemical propertie...
